Introducing Ms Addison

She's finally here!

9 lbs 2 oz
21 in long
and beautiful hair!

After some high blood pressure at the Dr office she decided to induce me that night and we were pretty nervous at first but of course very excited to meet our baby girl! I was lucky enough to have my mom for my nurse that night and everything really went smoothly until I thought I was gonna die at 8:00 in the morning when the contractions were hurting so bad. Poor Greg was trying so hard to be helpful but I was in so much pain that I didn't really want any of his help.

But an hour later I was so ready for the epidural and the rest of the day was so great and I cannot imagine having a baby without one. Well long story short, it went much faster than we thought it would be and I was pushing by noon. Unfortunately Addison was quite a large baby and didn't want to come out so 2 hrs and 45 min of pushing later...she just needed a few "salad tongs" to help get her out.

After some minor complications with jaundice, bili lights, not enough weight gain, and 4 too many visits too early in the morning to the pediatrician...we are so happy and glad she's healthy.

We've been doing really well and are LOVING having this adorable new addition to our family. I just stare at her all day and cannot believe how beautiful she is!

You are an adorable and amazing mom, Greg is a fabulous dad - you both keep me in stitches most of the time - it's so good to laugh together so often.
