My developing "crafty" side...

Due to my "part-time-waiting-to-be-full-time-employment" status, I have recently had a lot of free time and therefore have been trying to come up with ways to not feel quite so bored and useless while hanging out at home.

Which is where my sudden "craftiness" comes in. Trust me, I have tried being crafty and artistic before but gave up on the picture-taking, card-making, scrapbooking, and geez I don't know what else I tried to fill up my time. But I am really liking this sewing thing now that I'm able to borrow my mom's sewing machine and use her random extra fabric to make different things. 

I have to show off my most recent project because I think he's pretty cute! Yeah my next sock monkey will probably turn out better and be a little cuter but I think he turned out well and it was pretty fun!

Now I just need to find my own sewing machine on clearance somewhere...

IT'S A GIRL!

Just had our big ultrasound today and were very surprised to hear it's a girl! We were expecting to hear "boy" but now we couldn't be more excited for our baby girl! She's due June 25th...maybe she'll come three days early and we can have the same birthday!

I guess I kinda need to post a baby ultrasound picture even though I'm never very good at seeing what they're even showing but here you go...

I think this next picture of her long little legs is so cute! Last time she kept crossing her legs like that so we couldn't see the gender... 

Greg and I really like the name "Addison" so that's what we're thinking. We just found out Addison is a popular name from Grey's Anatomy but we had no idea so oh well, we like it!
